Default Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the replies, they almost all made perfect sense. I should have added, I have owned 5 Mazda Rx7's going back to 1979. I have always liked sports cars especially ones a working stiff could afford. Having said that, I was never enamored of the Rx8 with its back seat and lack of power. This is why I went with the Z. I love this car and the way it handles. It is not like I am wearing a glove, it is more like we are one. This is an emotional and spiritual experience some of the more pedestrian minded might not be able to comprehend. Now, to those who are unable to understand why anyone posts such questions, it is actually rather simple. They are under many pressures from family, friends, and so forth which do carry some weight. There is also the emotional aspect of really loving a car and not thinking clearly due to that desire, much like a young man feels toward a girl. His emotions may cloud his judgment when in love and or infatuated. It is always good to step away and have a look at the question from a distance. Not always being able to do so, asking others provides a surrogate perspective that some of us need from time to time. Finally, it is possible others are in the same situation and they may find some vicarious value from reading about people in similar situations. I know that is one reason why I love to read posts here even if I don't respond. The responses actually were very helpful and it goes back to, what was I thinking? Now, not to offend anyone, the 5.0 was never my cup of tea (no independent rear). Thanks anyway. I am going to do the Barracuda (68) with the 378 hp 360. Oh yeah, I am over the hill so help me out here, what is a DD?
