The law is not new been there for over year now. Loud exhaust has a fine of around $800 (3000dh) and 30 days impound, I have always been scared of pushing the car too much, at times my Z is not that loud, it was with FI exhaust I had before. I agree on weird laws coming up, but cant help it isn't? As at times there are people who drive really rash on public roads and modify cars which sound like fart cans so I don't blame anyone in the end. |
Well, we have no object on the laws in the GCC, but what we don't like is the attitude of these police men. they think that they are angels and can tread us like ****. specially here in Bahrain & Saudi, when a police man stop you he think that he's a god!!
in UAE its different the police men there know that there are too many expats, so they respect people when they stop them for a ticket!
thats why UAE is different than the other Gulf countries, and Qatar is following UAE now.
Bahrain and other Gulf countries are still in the Dinosaur Age.
