Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - Rear fog light?.... SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!??

I was looking at the back of my 2011 Z and was surprised to see that the blank plate is neither black nor body color. It looks like it's a dark red.

It's too cold to crawl underneath but I am curious. Anyone know for sure what's going on there? Maybe it can be easily converted to a stoplight.
