After I read this thread, I switched the CAMP2 in my G35 to monitor the oil temp just to see what it would do. I managed to get it up to 230F on the fwy with occasional boost under 7 psi, but like the others have said, theres no way I'd push it any further unless I'm on a track. BTW ... the coolant temp stayed rock solid at 200F.

If you guys are driving it that hard, the car is being driven way outside what most owners will be doing. Just get the oil cooler. You may even want to consider a dry sump.
