It was a tough game for both teams. I wouldn't want anyone playing in those conditions, but I guess there was too much money/ PR at stake to postpone.
I'm glad the Caps won, but it wasn't really NHL hockey at its best. People were falling left and right. No opportunity for great stick handling or skating. Just dump the puck and scramble at the net. |
Yeah, I usually cringe when the NHL is on NBC. Absolutely terrible.
In the end, it's just another reg. season game with 2 points going to the winner. Officially at the halfway point of the regular season now. I cannot believe Bruce Boudreau said this: "This is as close to the Stanley Cup as we've gotten and we're not denying that it was more than just two points."
It's comments like that which make me laugh hysterically at that organization.
