Glad you liked it! One thing about the blue I've noticed is that the color varies quite a bit depending on lighting conditions. This pic of my Z in the garage is a good example. The tail end has natural sunlight hitting it, while the front has more artificial light from the garage door opener. Look at the gradient in the coloring.
Then there's this one, which is under fluorescent lighting (and even this one has gradient between body panels):
