I'd check this hole here (behind the fender liner of the front-right wheel well). Normally, there's a grommet in it, but in this pic it's pulled out because I'm about to route wires through it:

Here's where it leads to on the other side. If it's not properly sealed, I could see how water would come through and soak the carpet:
