It looks a bit akward without a drop. Take a look at Double Downs picture album, specifically at the one with volks where the rim/tire sticks out a good 1.5-3" outside the fender. That's what it looked like without a drop.

IMHO a simple spring drop would eliminate it. The rims/tires fold in quick when the car is lowered. I'm happy to have taken a risk and shared my story with others because it was worth it. It did rub and the extreme lowered point, alot actually. It's the only offset that you can get with these wheels at this size.
