Despite whatever safety these systems promote, I really have a hard time taking Nissan seriously when they call this a sports car when you can't even completely remove traction control and stability control. Its outrageous! If I want to drive my car with as few nannies as possible, I certainly should be able to without losing brake light function!

So my question to everyone is this sort of implementation of a true "VDC off" button possible and something you all want? I for one feel like Nissan has a permanent hold on he "leash" to my car....
Nope, not Nissan, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the
Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, "own" the leash!
