I received my AVH-P4200DVD on Wednesday and the PAC SWI-PS and break bypass on Thursday.

I began the install last night and finished it up this morning. Everything went very smooth. I ordered from Crutchfield, so I used their installation instructions as well as TennesseeZ's DIY thread.

I have a 6MT, so it was a little different with removing the shift trim ring. It does pop right off, but I didn't remove it completely. Was in the way most of the time though.

As mentioned before, I ordered from Crutchfield, so I used their installation accessories that came as part of the order including the dash kit, wire harness and antenna connection.

I pretty much got all the wiring done except for the PAC SWI-PS last night. I completed that this morning. I cut the wires not used on the PAC to use as extensions to connect the SW control wires and the resistors. I know some people solder those, but I just used 2 sided crimps and wrapped everything with electrical tape.

The brake bypass was too easy. Just three wires and works as expected.

All in all it was a very easy process. Just time consuming doing all the splicing.

The HU sounds and looks great. I haven't replaced the stock speakers yet and they sound completely different. Still not great, but so much better.

I'll try to take some better completed pictures if anyone cares. I definitely need to clean the HU....
