I find the manual a little rough as compared to other cars I've owned in the past.
There's a lot of feedback felt through the clutch and the shifter. Oddly though, this is minimized with Synchro rev on even on upshrfts which from what I know is not a function of srm.
the only other major complaint are the blind spots which are unfortunate attributes derived from the Z's sexy design.
Hopefully for 2010 Nissan will not only include a back up camera but rear peripheral ones as well.
Despite these issues and my tendency to avoid first year models, I have no regrets for buying my 370.
It may not be as nimble as a Boxster or Cayman but I actually believe It's better built, faster and sticks to the road better. When you factor in the Tech, Japanese reliability and price, it becomes a no brainer_
If you're interested in a Z and waited this long, why not wait for the 10's, after all, it's not like your driving a piece of Crap
