Should we also raise the minimum age to enter the military in a combat role to at least 21, or do you think an M4 carbine and a half-track take any less competance to use properly/safely?

I love this forum. Getting back on point, the OP's parents should not be surprised by his accident. Frankly, when I have children of driving age I will want them to have great things.
