I would figure I would chime in even though I dont have the 40th but it may help you gus out. This is what I did last week based on discussions and information gathering.
Step 1 Prep the car. IE wash using dawn liquid to strip all the wax. (2 bucket system) using a soft sponge. Tip go in the direction of the airflow to minamize scratches, top to bottom. I also use a filter on the water hose to prevent containments in the water supply from getting on the car.
Step 2 drying. many people like the towels etc but I use a leaf blower. This will dry the car and get in those spots a towel cannot get to and it will not scratch the surface (unless you use it in a dust storm).
Step 3 clay bar.
Step 4 rewash with Zaino car wash. Zaino Car wash and wax is the best I have came across. I will talk more about Zaino in the Wax portion. But the car wash is designed to have a neutral PH balance.
Step 5 Dry with leaf blower.
Step 6 wax (Zaino). Great stuff google their website and it will tell you more. I first use the Z5 with ZFX to be able to do multiple coats in the same day. Followed by their spray in between the coats. The Z5 a little goes a long way. The third coat of the day I go a litte heaver to use up the rest of the product and I will leave it on overnight.
Step 7 tires and interior.
Step 8 next day remove the previous days coats and proceed to use the Z2 product 3 coats with the spray inbetween and leaving the last coat on overnight.
Step 9. Wipe away the previous days coat and spray one last time.
I know this sounds like a lot of work but once you do the prep work with the clay bar, the waxing phase takes about 15 min each wax with 30 min dry time. not long at all. and this lasts 6 months from what i am told. I will update later on to let you know how it works, but what I can tell you is my Black has a deeper and richer shine than I have ever achieved with wax and the dust does not stick to it. It is like a sheet of black glass. I will try to post pics soon. Everytime I look at her she looks like she has gotten darker and it has only been a week.
