The most expensive ticket I ever got was for going through a stop sign. It was retarded as the road for going strait has been closed for 5 years so its an L shape. Even if both people going opposite ways on the street ignore the stop sign you will not hit each other since the road is closed and its an L. If the road was open then it would be a T instead of an L and a stop sign makes sense.

Anyway this bitch is just sitting there getting people for going through the stop sign. When she pulls me over she says "your not the first one today" and I was like yeah no kidding. Almost everybody goes through that stop sign because it shouldn't even be there and both people going through it wouldn't cause an accident. Well I couldn't even read her freaking hand writing and she like didn't press hard enough so nothing was really legible on my copy of the ticket.

They never sent me a notice in the mail so I completely missed my court date and it ended up going into collections. The $178 ticket became $478 after the collections ********. My most expensive ticket ever.

My 'worst' ticket as far as how much over I was going would be this one time I was doing about 85-90 in a 50. It was a back-road with great visibility. So I wouldn't consider it to be dangerous per say. I was already slowing down as a bit down the road there are some houses and its not safe to be going fast but I liked taking the curved part of the road fast. There is a fire station off the side of the road and I guess a cop was just randomly there (I don't think he was trying to give people tickets). I immediately saw him and slowed down a ton but I knew I was gonna get a ticket.

He had me waiting almost 10 min before actually giving me a ticket as he got another call or something which was annoying but luckily I am glad he only wrote me up for like a 75 in the 50 even though I was going a lot faster. I don't think he actually radar'd me because I am pretty sure he was just pulling out of the fire station and not trying to clock people for speeding.

I totally deserved that ticket though.

The only other ticket I have received (minus some fix-it/registration tickets I got when driving my dad's 280z) was this a speeding ticket on the CA-60. Back then I went into work at midnight instead of 10 PM so traffic was lower and I routinely drove 85 on the freeway. Well I was actually early for work for a change so I was only driving 75 (almost nobody on the freeway).

This prick cop comes up behind me (I couldn't tell it was a cop) and literally rides my *** (less than 1 car length behind me) for like 20-30 seconds. I unconsciously sped up to 80 due to him riding my *** and as soon as I put my blinker on and was half way into the other lane (to let him go by for riding my ***) I see his lights flash and he pulls me over and gives me a ticket for going 80 in a 65. ******* ***! I know he intentionally did that to get me to speed up.

I had one close call since I got my 370z. I typically get up to traffic speed (75) when going on an on ramp. Well I had just finished putting 2k miles on my 370 and was finally out of the break-in period. This car in the right lane was like just where I would be getting up to traffic speed so I pushed it a little and almost hit 90 when I got in front of him. I immediately let my foot off the gas and got down to about 75 but apparently a bit farther back there was a cop so he pulled me over.

I explained the situation to him and told him I had two choices to either speed up and get in front of him or slow down and get behind him and I made the dumb choice of going to fast and going in front of that was in the merging lane. Luckily the cop was cool and gave me a warning which I really appreciated. So far no tickets my 370z after almost 6 months and 10.5k miles =)
