As my coworker would say: "That's why you can't have nice things." Another would tell me: "Man, I wouldn't be able to handle that owning a nice car."
My rear bumper has a small car due to some idiot who momentarily crossed into my lane as we were slowing down to the traffic light. I hit the brakes harder for a bit, and he pulled back to his lane. After stopping, he quickly swung his car from the far left to the far right lane. He was so close to my rear that I could not see his headlights even for a minivan! I honked lots of times, but he just stared at me and took off. Later that afternoon I noticed the minor scar on my bumper.
Earlier this week I was at Walgreens. After getting in the car, an F150 just pulled in and parked about 1 ft. away from my door! I quickly pulled out of the spot before the driver opened the door. The truck parked past the line into my space. As I was leaving the parking lot I hit the brakes as a truck sped in from my right making a wide turn just to park his truck. Then I hit the brakes again as I saw a vehicle back out and not notice me one bit. Then as I was about to leave the parking lot, another car hit the brakes as the driver narrowly misses the entrance to Walgreens. So the driver put it in reverse and pulled in.
Then I had a situation where I was trying to accelerate and merge onto the freeway. Two vehicles behind me literally sped up making it difficult to merge. The vehicle in front of me managed to squeeze in between causing the 2nd vehicle (truck with trailer) to hit the brakes. I was already down to 20mph and running out of road when I managed to squeeze in behind the 2nd vehicle.
Then there's another situation where I switched to the left lane to let a truck merge. When I signaled to switch right, a vehicle that was a few car lengths back sped up close to my quarter making it impossible to change lanes. Both vehicles were already driving under the limit, so I ended up passing them.
