professordave- if the service manual does not say, i would use my volt meter to find a common ground, then use a 9V alkaline battery to see if one of the configurations would lite up the indicator in the switch. since the LED takes very little power to light (i am assuming) you dont need to worry about a relay, etc. any on/off configuration would work for your LED.
