I really like the knob, Ken. I'm not a fan of the large stock knob. I change the position of my hand depending on what gear I'm headed to, upshifting, downshifting, etc.

I actually found it fairly easy to remove the stock knob (well, maybe not easy but I got it off with no damage and no potty mouth words ). Just use channel locks to hold the shaft, and wrap the knob in another towel or rubber, and use a big plumbers monkey wrench to the threads broken.
