oh ok. then consider the tire squirm as the reason why it takes longer for VDC to react. snow tires have longer (deeper) treads and use softer compound so it's normal for the car to feel slower to respond to your inputs.

which means, VDC will respond slower too.

i thought smart folks read the internets.
