Ok here are the Update !
right now , we are scratching our head . We tested both Intake manifold and everything fit perfectly.
Only one problem
with both Intake manifold we ran into a problem
The ECU is pulling around 6-8 ignition timing at the top end
after looking to the datalog and after many pull the result were the same for both intake manifold regardless , both pulled timing
we tried different map that always worked last summer and from about 2 months ago *last time on dyno*
I had 1 relatively stock timing (+2 timing) with around 13.0-13.2AFR and still pulled timing on top
We tried our big Map with aggressive timing that was installed this summer ,,
the same result happened
we tried back a light advance timing map with richen AFR
still nothing ,, the ECU always pulled heavy timing on the top end
we looked at the VVEL system to see if the problem came from there ,,
we saw no sign of any problem , everything goes up(VVEL voltage) and Timing gets down.
so we have 2 possibility
1= something is vibrating somewhere that trigger the knock sensor
2= bad winter 91 fuel from Petro Canada which was the Sunoco station few week ago , for those that doesn't know . Sunoco provided us with a good fuel and access to a 94octane .
so I'm leaving it as it is and I will just not rev pass 6500 RPM until i get back on the dyno ( January/February ) oversize Throttle body + oversize MAF + custom CAI
