i know what you mean. You are all like 'oh cool i'm getting it!' then you stall out and you are like

i'm glad to see you coming around to the idea of sticking with it. you will be very happy in the long run. don't worry stalling it either. despite what other people say, its really not that bad for your car, as long as its not something you do all the time, consistently throughout the ownership of the vehicle.

another thing you can practice is getting comfortable with the engagement point without any gas. With the car on a flat surface, let the clutch out slowly until you see the rpms dip a tiny bit. you will see the tach needle go down about 100 rpm and you will hear the engine speed go down. that is the engagement point. as son as this happens, just clutch all the way down. and try again. This will help you really get a feel for the clutch.
