My take is that the Brilliant Silver is probably the most forgiving of the two but they are both good choices and easy to live with. I almost got the pearl white, it's a really sharp color, I was actually going to get the pearl white because I was tired of silver (we were trading a silver car, we've had several black cars, the yellow and the blue were a bit much for the wife, the red was a little dark for my taste, but the charcoal gray almost made the cut) but literally at the the last minute I chose the brilliant silver-the sun was shining and the silver with the black interior seemed to be a bit more special. Also of note that brilliant silver is the color of preference for the 2010 370Z sales literature and according to the dealer is the best on trade-in value. The white does well on trade-in as well.
I certainly would pick the one you liked best-upkeep would be a secondary consideration, the Z looks great in several colors. My car is garaged so keeping it clean isn't too hard but if keeping it clean is a problem and you really don't have a preference the silver should be easier to live with.
