Part of the issue is having warm tires. If you ever do a track day, you'll see how much more tack you have on warm tires than on cold tires. For all intents and purposes, your tires never warm up fully while street driving. You'd probably get better launches with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires than a set of cold summer tires.
