On paper, it puts out roughly the same numbers as the 370Z. Cheaper parts and easy to upgrade. But to me, if I am going to spend so much on the car, it better make me feel like it's worth it. The STi didn't.
P.S. I got rid of the STi for a Nismo 370Z. I realized that I don't need to haul things around (I can always buy a very cheap second car/truck like everyone has stated.) I'm young and single. The STi (since it's a wagon) gave the dad with kids impression. It's funny how some people bought the STi for it's double duty of being practical instead of really for what it is; a track/rally inspired car. Oh and if you're going to track the STi, be prepared to upgrade the radiator as well as an oil cooler. The stock engine's pistons are weak and can't hold boost that well. If you're thinking about the newer STi's, 2011, somehow they ended up being slower than 08-10.

I would say
100% the interior (with nav) is very motivating and luxurious looking lacking very little if anything!
I also agree on just getting a cheap second car/truck. That's what I did for our sh!tty winters here in Canada, got a old 97 pathfinder!
