Cars creak when they are cold because all that nicely fitted interior was fitted when it was 70* or so. Not when it was 20*. Plastic expands/contracts wither temperature changes. It's physics. You fit something perfect when it's 20* and it is going to crack or creak like crazy or the vents will pop out and everything else will buldge/bend when it hits 120* in the summer in your parked car.
Normal.
This is like complaining that you have a dash-light on when you have a nearly empty gas-tank.
