It is one if my pet peeves as well. Hell, MRP is my job. I make sure my suppliers deliver their engine parts on time to Pratt & Whitney.

But in any case...when there is a project taken of this magnitude, a timeline doesn't mean much. They are engineering parts on this car that will be produced as aftermarket products for purchase for our community. They are doing all the R&D. Add this fact with the hundreds of other customers GTM deals with... the R&D can't be placed on a time constraint. That's one thing I learned when I used to work for a VQ shop.
