good point, I always forget about shattering the glass. It's never happened to me, but I also don't think I've ever poured water on my car. Closest thing was washing my truck in the winter

Keeping the window down a little was my original plan but the overlap seemed so small I didn't think I could lower it enough to prevent getting stuck while still having it up enough to actually keep out the weather. Guess I'll look at it more closely tomorrow.
