Day one review: 430 hp and 400+ tq is very fun and I havent even jumped off the line yet. The big V8 power is always there, even with the auto I got. Its has a sport mode and paddle shifting for fun. The interior quality seems to be of equal quality as the Z and the seats are confortable to me. While driving some roads today that I always did with the Z (for comparison) I will say that the vette rides better and has alot less road noise, but some is still there. I dont feel the bumps as much and it has the run flat tires which from what Ive heard, feel the bumps more. The vette doesnt float up after running in a small dip in the road at high speeds like the Z did. It seems to handle and take turns just as good if not better than the Z, atleast from the first day ride. The non Bose stereo in the vette is way better the Bose one in the Z.
Now for the power, this things has goops of tq and is always ready to run, its really fast even with everything stock right now. I can feel the power pushing me into my seat and it just keeps going with its V8. An exhaust, intake and a port and polish with tune will have this thing flying. And a SC a year or so down the road. Even in 6th gear at 2k rpms this things picks up with just a slight push of the gas pedal. The DIC in it (not me either) Display Information Control, or something like that lets you see all the temps, oil, trans, etc.
Now I love the Z still and I think it looks great but I love the vette, its mild when cruising and a beast when needed. Its an easy DD as it is much like the Z in size and feel.

Heads have never been the hold-up on an LSX car. They flow great. A simple cam with intake/exhaust and a tune will have you putting down nearly 100whp more.
For example, my friend's LS2 GTO made 346whp with just a CAI. He then put in a fairly tame cam, LSX intake, and exhaust and made 431whp. His cam was running out of steam on the big-end, though.
The LS3 in your car just has more cubes to play with and is better all-around. Still the same gains (or more) on the table.
Do you have the Z51 suspension or did GM do away with that in 2010 because of the Grand Sport, I cannot recall?
