Never pay over invoice. There is still about 2K or so in dealer hold-back that is profit. If you bought at invoice, the dealership still made enough to keep the lights on, pay the employees, and grow, and noone screwed anyone over UNLESS you beat up the sales person. Know what you want, and your sales-person is just filling out paper-work for $1-200.

Basically, they will make about $50/hr for the time they deal with you on this "mini-deal". To me, that is fair. I used to work for Ford, and when I made mini-deals where the customer came in, knew what they wanted, could buy, and just had me fill out papers, I was happy to get my (then) $100 for that little work.
