I'll try to keep it as brief as I could, my personal duties were "Garage Scrutineer" and "Tire scanner"

As a garage scrutineer, I need to keep a log of everything done to the team's car, from starting the engine, to adjusting suspension geometry and aerodynamics. This log goes back to FIA after each practice and the qualifying session. Especially since the cars enter "Parc Fermé" between Qualifying and Race, meaning they can't adjust anything mechanical anymore without prior approval from FIA, there is of course a list of things they can do during that period like draining/refilling of fluids, fuel, inspecting underside for damage etc..

As a tire scanner, I need to make sure my car (Petrov's) only uses the set of tires he's allocated. Every tire there has a barcode and needs to be scanned as soon as it comes off the car. It gets a little pushy when all the mechanics get stressed during qualifying and the engineers from bridgestone start jumping in to measure the tires temps of each of tire.
