Hey,

Thanks all! We had a lot of fun at SEMA. We also spent about $180 in cab rides due to the fact our car was inCARcerated. It sucks not having your own ride.

I’ll post some pictures soon. It was amazing how many people came to check out the car every day, especially the Asians and young folks. I think there were more foreigners there than Americans at the show. Now, outside was a totally different story. It was open to the public and there were a lot of people outside checking out the cars. The Las Vegas Convention Center is OMG huge! We were there for a 6 days and we could not see everything. There is no way.

Anyway, back to reality. There is absolutely no bracing under the car. What, no bracing? We knew that Nissan built a stronger body for the z34 vs the z33 and we figured that it is just as strong as the z33 with the top off. We lifted the car with a single jack in the middle and the door closed perfectly. You can lift it on a car lift with no flexing. Now, as it stands now, I would not track the car. I don’t think I would track a Roadster as well. We are attending The Run 8 in Tampa and then in January/February we are going to do some flex testing. We want the data so we know where this mod stands. It has been driven by a handful of expert Z people and they said it is pretty solid, but the testing will tell the tail. Worst case we will add some reinforcement under the car. No biggie. Then the pricing will begin.

So far, Revolution Kustomz figures about $9,800 for the mod. You can have a Roadster or this mod for about the same price. The mod will be faster than ours due to the fact they had to figure out everything. We are also having a foldable soft top as well.

Revolution Kustomz is working on the final rear build for the car at their shop. We have actually gone with a Multiple Sclerosis theme for our car. We are just trying to raise awareness about this disease and maybe raise some money for this cause. We do not know of any car that is themed after a disease. It is becoming a “Car with a Cause.” Why not do something different? That seems to be our motto.
