You have to pay attn to the speedo in this car. It is deceptively fast. Very easy to trick the butt dyno.
The Mazdaspeed3, on the other hand, actually has more torque than the Z. It's not quite as fast, but you feel a tug in your lumbar region with every shift. |
This is true. The Z doesn't make much power at all below 4,000 RPM but from 4,000 to redline it's got nice power and the delivery is very linear, so you don't really feel the "thrust" that you would with a car that's got more torque.
