You nailed it... I'm in Arizona, cold starts are rare... This is 90% track car... Once oil is up to temperature, my understanding is that even 15w50 acts 'thin'... also despite the viscosity, it is rated at 0% shear loss... Finally, I'm relying in part on the recommendation of other racers in AZ
