Default New guy here

Hey everyone,

My name is Tom and I'm from Long Island, NY... I've been browsing the forums for a while now doing some research and looking at pictures... I'm pretty sure the 370Z will be my next car, I love it; so I figured since I was off from work today and browsing the site I would sign up...

I'm hoping to start processing for a local law enforcement job and plan on buying the Z after I finish the academy which would hopefully be sometime in the late spring/early summer... Looking to get a pearl white base+sport... Possibly the touring+sport...

I currently drive a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS... I loved the car and planned on doing an STI motor/tranny/brake/suspension swap on it, but if I did all that I wanted to paint it also and adding everything up just didn't seem worth it to me... Then I got a bike, a 2004 GSX-R600 and I stopped caring about cars really...

I've always wanted a 2 seater and my criteria has been 2 seats, manual, AWD, turbo... The only car I can think of is the older Audi TT which I don't like... The new TTS is hot but doesn't come in manual... The 370 has the looks and I can do without the AWD and the turbo... As I have said, after getting the bike, cars just aren't as fun to me anymore so this car will just be a nice way for me to get around... So far I only plan on doing the basic intake and exhaust... I thought about wheels but I REALLY like the stock Rays... Other than that, no need for me to mod it out too much...

Here's some pics of my current car and bike...
Car has:
Borla replica header
Stromung Catback
Stromung trackpipe (removed)
Exedy street performance clutch & lw flywheel
short throw
k&n intake filter
Cusco front strut bar
Cusco rear sway bar
17" Konig feathers
JDM STI v6 wing, rear spats, front lip, tail lights
22B hood vents

Bike:
Micron slipon
frame sliders
flush mounts
double bubble
polished wheels
