This is the old BridgeHampton Raceway in Sag Harbor. It closed in 1999 for the same reason all the 1/4 mile tracks on the Island closed down, noise and money. The "Bridge" as it was called was one of the most famous and challenging road courses in the country back in the day. Mario Andretti said turn one was the most difficult or dangerous turns in all the tracks he raced on. Such a shame it closed down 
Oh and I have been out on the old Calverton Runway as well, good times LOL.
