Other than washing and drying it, that would be my suggestion. It is not paint so you can't treat it like paint. The more you do to it, the worse it is for it.
Make sure that you use painters tape to mask off the edges of it. You do not want the polisher rubbing up against the lines of it.

Thanks for the tips. i just called the installer and i'm going to see what to do as far as the areas covered by the clear bra.

i've seen a lot of people spray detail spray as they dry the car off, and i'm not sure what it is, but it does seem to come out better when i dry off the car and spray some. is it necessary or is it overkill and part of the problem?
