I won't get into the debate about what is better. Honestly, like Lou says, they are apples and oranges and I love them both. I would have a difficult time loosing either to keep the other.

Here is what I can tell you... after getting into the TT after a couple of weeks of driving the 370, I thought "Man, forgot how f'ing fast this car really is!" Keep in mind that I have quite a bit of work in mine though.

How much work you put into it is really going to depend on how it's been cared for. With the age, electrical connections are always and issue. I installed an new main harness when I did my upgrades. As stated above, stock injectors are an issue and the ethanol is not helping. I will be changing an injector on our 91 2+2 NA in the next week or two because one failed.

My best advise to anyone about a TT... if you can't do the majority of the work and mods yourself, it's gonna be very expensive. If you aren't willing or capable of jumping into a timing belt job, it's not for you.
