Hey guys,

This is not for me, but I felt you guys would have some sort of a clue. My friend is buying an s2000 that has a theft recovery salvage title. Currently the car has a dealer plate but is owned by a private party. He bought the car at an auction but never transferred the title over to himself. The car's been sitting in his garage. What is the cost and process involved in transferring the title to my friend? Apparently it's going to cost a pretty penny. The seller wants to sell the car at an agreed price but wants my friend (buyer) to cover the title transfer costs. Thanks for all your help.
