My question is... if the 40th is 36k? Why is a touring sport. 37.9? Doesn't make sense.

# 1 the 40th IS a Touring/Sport as it has every feature of those models being sold so. It has 19" wheels, big brake kit, leather/suede interior, Syncro-rev matching 6M trans, VLS Differential, Blue tooth, Cargo and front mats...
The real difference is isolated to the gun metal wheels, the blood red leather/suede interior, and the various badge additions that denote its a 40th...
#2 There were 1000 made - not 500. Which is rare by any standard.
#3 36k for a 40th is a huge discount to what I am seeing here in Newport News VA and in Richmond VA where both dealerships have them on the lot right now with window stickers indicating $39,800. I asked if they were 'dealing' from that price and they said We don't need to' So they are priced for sale at that price.
In a nutshell - the 40th is a Touring Sport and if you are considering a touring sport - and a normal one is 37... and that dealership is selling a 40th for 36... Do the math. The 40th is a Much Better Deal. I love mine - I feel it is the baddest color combo on the street right now considering that its STOCK. It continues to impress and get the nod where ever I take it (not that I care) but it does make me smile to know that its a sexy car to others too.
Hope that helps... Darkpath
