While it is moot at this point, I think it is just a question of terminology
The 370Z comes in four models: Base, Touring, Nismo, Roadster.
The 370Z has some ala carte options: floor mats, Nismo floor mats, trunk carpet, splash guards, illuminated sills, auto, aero kit, navigation, Nismo brake pads
The 370Z can have three option packages: Sport, Navigation, 40th Anniversary
Not all combinations are available.
So he is saying you can get a Base with SRM, VLSD, etc - it is called a Base + Sport options package.
And you are saying you don't want a base because you want SRM, VLSD, etc. But that is a base model, just with the sport options package added. Not a separate model.
Congratulations on your upcoming purchase!
