Don't dealerships get paid by Nissan for the warranty work they perform? I don't understand why any potential warranty-covered work would get declined, especially for something stupid like HFCs. I know dealerships in the Chicago area are dying for more service work. Once a customer says they wouldn't pay for work if it's not warranty covered, you'd think the dealership would backpedal and then cover the work under warranty to get the business and Nissan payment for the labor.
