Keep in mind thousands of the Z have been sold. A few have had some legitimate issues. If you plan on tracking you car you will need an oil cooler installed. There is nothing stiff about the clutch. But then, I don't have dainty legs A stiff clutch is found on my '76 vette. I just traded my '09 z with ~15K miles. Zero issues, no warranty work. Ran Mobil 1 oil and it purred like a kitten at idle and took off like a scared cat! No hesitation with the gas pedal. My new roadster doesn't have as much manual transmission clunk as the other coupe I had. Hatch worked great but I didn't have a rear spoiler. The oem tires are sticky and throw rocks. The Michelins did not and ran a bit quieter. But hey, it's a sports car not a RR. So, go ahead and pull the trigger imho. Btw, welcome to the forum!
