This goes with my previous sentiments. If you need to mod it to make it fun--buy something else.
That being said, I hope they fix it for you as I doubt HFC's did it. Who knows? Technically I guess it could change the AFR which could cause increased/decreased heat or some other mumbo jumbo. More likely, though, they would argue that it changed the power of the engine, and that this caused another failure of something that interacted with the driveline.
