Great video. Some random comments:
  • The Porsche driver had apparently nothing to lose, as demonstrated on the first corner, when he "gives the Viper the change" for the Viper's overtaking, it could've been really ugly!
  • You can tell the Porsche is lighter, and handles perhaps a little bit better, and how the Viper makes up for it with extra power
  • At 03:05, I felt the Viper could've tried to move inside (to the right) aggressively in the braking for the next turn, especially considering traffic. It might have worked.
  • Ditto at 04:33. This one might have resulted in both overshooting and locking up, but I think the Viper might have come out successful, if no contact was made.
  • Incredible to see the difference in performance between these two thoroughbred race cars and some of the other "traffic", which contained some cars that otherwise, on their own, are complete bad a&$es!
  • 08:48 - amazing closure rate, considering the turn!
  • 09:18 - WHAT? Where did he come from? LOL, the Viper could have used some taller gearing in 6th

A great battle, but overall I think the Viper driver was not aggressive enough, either because it was not worth it (maybe just lapping for testing), or not experienced enough.
