I said it before and I'll say it again...........Nissan tranny's suck. Wait til the snow flies and you need to find reverse. My last two Nissans were troublesome and this one looks the same. Nothing major, but annoying. I too have troubles with first to second shifts. Mostly when it's cold, but sometimes when warm. You can feel/hear the gears not meshing well but not the sound as is you're not using the clutch. There are unfortunately tranny's running around like this and it's kinda "normal" to them.
