I suspect Nissan purposely undervalued the GTR when they brought it here to the states since it didn't have the "street cred", for lack of a better phrase, to get people to take a Nissan seriously that was priced at 6 figures, even though it delivers performance to warrant it. The R36 will be a $100+K car I bet. Nissan has established the GTR's credentials here now and they'll be able to get away with a $110K price tag assuming the R36 is even more awesome than the jump from the CDA to DBA R35. At 110K or so, it'd still be a steal for what you're getting.
