Default What's up with the prices on untitled, <20 mile, 2009 370z's?

Anyways lurker here who's tired of dealing with ball joints blowing out out on my G8 GT and tired of back seat that I haven't used once since I don't have any friends...so I decided to look into switching into something else.

In my search for finding a good deal I came across 3 different dealerships within ~30 miles of my house and they all have 2009 370z's on their lots...all of them in different options and whatnot and after asking them for a quote they all wouldn't dip below MSRP on them claiming "it's a limited production and rare vehicle" I don't get their reasoning behind that especially when they are fully stocked with 2010 Z's in both coupe and roadster variants...why wouldn't they let a leftover 2009 Z that's been on the lot for over a year for below MSRP? I'd prefer not to go up in car payments compared to my G8 so I thought looking at untitled last year vehicles would be a good start but apparently a 2009 370z with touring/sport in 6spd is 39000 dollars...the same as a equally equipped 2010 model.

Anyone else here who bought a last model Z this year experience something similar? I even practiced my haggling skills on that adorable capitalism game on Steam for weeks yet I still haven't gotten them to go below MSRP...is that a common occurrence with these vehicles or something? I know when I got my G8 GT last year they took 5000 off MSRP through GM bonus cash and another 3000 in "buy this car plz" cash.
