Had a pleasant day at Sandown Raceway yesterday (Melbourne, Australia) - it was a corporate day for Aston Martin, Porsche. BMW and Maserati types with senior dealer people present, and a couple of Z34 coupes and other marques signed up to make use of the track time.

Two groups, novices and those who had been there before.

No timing (precluded by event insurance) but another opporunity to use the Z in the manner intended without the polis getting cranky about speeding (our nanny-state has some vicious speeding laws).

Have proven to my own satisfaction that the Dunlop Direzza DZSP1 is a great all-round combination tyre for daily driver as well as track days - these are a relatively new tyre in Australia but I'm happy to say they have certainly served me well so far. Not so sure about durability, but you can;t have everything.
