Always be 100% sure on brakes before a track day...or any day for that matter. General rule of thumb I have heard for the track is if the pad is thicker than the backing plate, you are good to go. If the pad is thinner than the backing plate than no more track days. I have used that rule for years with 2 different cars and been good so far.
