Default Cutting Nismo S-Tune springs?

OK I know this is not a great idea, but I was wondering about this today. The reason is that this setup did not drop .4" as expected but infact raised my car .5" ! Coupled with the fact these are VERY stiff, I was thinking about just cutting a coil and seeing if I can get a .5 to 1" drop out of them! (making them like OEM or .5" lower. LOL)

Thoughts?

edit: Plan on getting Swift Spec R's later on but thought I can experiment in the meantime! But not sure this will work anyhow as the springs dont have as many coils...
