That sucks! It is the minority few that ruin it for all of us. speeding does NOT kill, it is speeding in an inappropriate environment. Unfortunately the Government adopts a blanket approach to speeding. The other thing is if the Government was REALLY serious about reducing the road toll, they would focus and adopt other measures to reduce the road toll, ie, more police on the road that use common sense and stop drivers who are blatantly driving at risk, not drivers who may be travelling fast but perfectly safely. Driver education, better roads, less traffic, better and cheaper public transport to entice the average "appliance" driver to take public transport, more on the spot drug tesating for suspicious looking drivers and more. These measures would reduce the road toll. Don't forget that considering the increase in population the road toll has actually gone down. Driving should be a privilege
and not a right, there are far too many drivers out there that should not be allowed to drive.
